Joshua Mutinda Nzuki, February 1997 - July 2006

Joshua lived in Emali which is in Southern Kenya.  He lived with his sister and mother; unfortunately his father died due to an illness sometime ago. They are extremely poor with an annual income of less than NZ$100 earned by his mother who is a peasant farmer.

The family's living conditions were so bad that Joshua was referred to ChildFund by a social worker because their income was unable to provide a healthy diet, clothing, or medical care.

Unfortunately, due to his late arrival at the project, he was not immunised against tuberculosis and died of the disease a few days ago.

TB is a ridiculous thing to die from in the year 2006.

Alan has commenced a campaign to try and change things for these children. They don't ask to be born when and where they are any more than you or I did. The one inescapable fact is that they are there and they are dying. Joshua's grave, if it is even marked, will be one of thousands, tens of thousands, and millions, of children who are dying preventable deaths, right now.

This page is a permanent memorial of Joshua.

He may not have lived long, but he will not be forgotten.

In the meantime..........Please join us and change a child's life today - just clink on ChildFund logo to help kids in need right now.
