Kosiantet

This is one of the little Kenyan girls being sponsored by Charman
Consulting.
We made a decision to assist underprivileged children instead
of buying Christmas presents and cards for our customers and we are running this page to let
you, follow and chart their progress as they
grow.
Kenya’s decline from being a rich colonial nation to the deficient and
corrupt regime currently running the country is something we can’t change,
much as we’d like to.
We can, however, educate, feed, clothe and give medical care to children
individually.
This will at least ensure that each child and his/her family survive and
hopefully improve the lot of others in the future.
Alan & Rhonda have been personally involved in child sponsorship for many
years and have seen the benefits of the Child Fund sponsorship as families
improve their lives to become self-sufficient and educated.
Kosiantet is a particularly bad case, having been born into an incredibly poor
family. Her parents’ combined income is under $300 per year, and yes that is
Kiwi dollars!
She turns 9 on 23 September 2006.
She will now have access to clean drinking water for the first time in her
life, along with medical care, vaccinations and schooling.
Here is a recent photo of Kosiantet from 2009
