Quest Recruitment - a Disgrace

Immoral, unethical, and it really ought to be illegal.

Exposed today in the Herald, Quest Recruitment has been taking the unbelievable step of charging candidates one month's pay!

This is disgusting behaviour and the sort of thing which gives recruiters a bad name.

Fortunately, scumbags like Quest are few and far between - while we all try our best, we sometimes make mistakes, just like every other human ever born - but what Quest is doing is so unreasonable that it ought to be illegal.

They are taking advantage of candidates at a time when jobs are scarce and people are desperate enough to agree to any terms if they can see a job at the end of it.

If you have had any dealings with Quest in any capacity whatsoever, I strongly recommend you desist at once.

Employers - there are honest recruiters around who are far more deserving of your money than Quest.

Candidates - probably 99% of agencies will give you free advice and assistance in looking for jobs.

Let your fingers do the walking and find another firm to deal with.
