Anti-Vax Scum.
In every society, there are stupid people, there are ignorant people, then there are some whose ignorance and stupidity is mixed with an appalling level of arrogance which suggests they know better than everyone else.
In these people, their stupidity descends far beyond ordinary stupidity and touches on the realms of evil. Chief among them are parents who choose to not vaccinate their children against "childhood" diseases - measles, whooping cough, polio and the like.
These wilfully ignorant scum delude themselves into believing that the risks of vaccination outweigh the risks of the disease.
This is ridiculously and dangerously wrong. There is an enormous amount of evidence to show that vaccines are far, far safer than the diseases they vaccinate against, and that vaccinations do not cause autism, which is one of the main chants of these disgusting pieces of filth.
Like many dangerously deluded fools, anti-vaxers attempt to suck others into their web of deceit to try to legitimise their own absurd beliefs.
No matter how convincing an argument anti-vaxers make, check your facts and you will find that the overwhelming scientific evidence shows that vaccinations are good, not bad.
It is a criminal disgrace that New Zealand has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the world, where an absurdly-high rate of 18% of children are not vaccinated. The proof of this idiocy is currently being shown in Canterbury, where both measles and whooping cough epidemics are taking place right now.
Updated to note the measles epidemic has now reached Auckland.
I will be holding each and every anti-vax scumbag personally responsible for any child that dies during the epidemic.
Just because you don't know someone who has had a child die from measles does not mean they don't. Every year, thousands of children worldwide die from measles and whooping cough.
Please, for the sake of everyone's children, don't let's wait until another polio epidemic to get immunisation rates up. The responsibility is on us as parents to ensure uptake is high.
If you know someone whose children are not vaccinated, don't allow them in your house - shun them as ignorant scum too dangerous for your children to be around. You wouldn't let your kids play at the house of a child murderer, yet in an anti-vax parent, you have a person who is not only potentially going to kill their own kids, but also someone else's. Anti-vaxers are not a valid part of society, so leave them to their own pool of similarly-deluded , wilfully ignorant, arrogant scumbags.
Some facts:
Vaccines do not cause autism. That they do or might is an often-repeated lie promoted by anti-vaxers. There has been enormous research into the issue and it has been conclusively proven that the two are not linked in any way.

The facts about immunisation are not always easy to find as various forms of "alternative medicine" (none of which works) such as homeopathy and chiropractic try to preserve their witch-doctoring by attempting to deny the science spew their pages of lies across the internet.
